Suunto Ambit3 Vertical – a multisport experience
Suunto Ambit3 Vertical has all the features you need for running, cycling, swimming and multisport training. In addition, GPS will give you accurate pace, show the right direction and path, while the heart rate monitor allows you to train in your ideal zone. The built-in altimeter will provide you with information about the meters climbed and descended during each activity, as well as summary reports on the watch and in the training diary on Movescount. Vertical also has smartwatch functions that can be connected to all modern smartphones. Vertical provides continuous activity monitoring for a more complete estimate of your total recovery time and for evaluating your daily activity (fitness bracelet function).

Compatibility
Ambit3 communicates via Bluetooth smart technology with both additional sensors and smartphones and tablets. The Movescount app, which turns Ambit3 into a smartwatch and also allows the transfer of recorded data from the watch, is available for the following devices:

Ambit3 is no longer compatible with ANT+ technology, so you cannot use Suunto accessories from Ambit and Ambit2 models or other older Suunto models. If you already have an older Suunto sports tester and want to use accessories (chest strap, pods, etc.), you can use Ambit up to the Ambit2 generation.
