Debuting in 1963, the Seiko Sportsmatic 5 was Japan's first automatic day-date watch, gaining popularity for its durability, practicality, and affordability. Following Seiko's success in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, the Seiko 5's exports surged, outpacing Swiss automatic watch production. Over the decades, the Seiko 5 has maintained its iconic status, especially after its major 2019 revamp.
The latest update introduces the SNXS sub-collection with three models: SRPK87, SRPK89, and SRPK91. These 37.4mm watches now feature 100m water resistance, enhanced bracelet design, and the upgraded 4R36 automatic movement. Available in ivory, black, and navy blue, each watch includes a vibrant orange seconds hand and a sunburst dial finish.
